Europass Viral Video Competition
Ever thought you could be the next world famous film Director? Well here is your chance to show us what you’re capable of. We need a short film to promote Europass visualising how the five documents can help young people get better jobs.
The competition is open to any students enrolled at a UK institution but will be best suited to those doing a Media Studies, Marketing or Advertising course.
The competition is to produce a viral video (90 second film) promoting the benefits of Europass. The films will be used to promote Europass and to encourage individuals to use its documents. There will be a prize for the team which produces the winning film.
What is a viral video?
A viral video is one that becomes popular through the process of Internet sharing, typically through video sharing websites and email. Humour is often a characteristic of viral videos, but not a defining one. A viral video is any video that's passed electronically, from person to person, regardless of its content.
So what do you have to do?
The aim of the competition is to produce a viral video related to one of the Europass documents. The video should meet the brief provided. The entries will be uploaded onto the Europass website for the public to choose their favourite.
Afterwards we hope that the films will be widely shared and promote the benefits of Europass to as wide a cross section of the population as possible. It is important to remember that an imaginative and creative idea is as vital – if not more so – than the artistic expertise of the participants.
